I just finished reading Hypocrisy and am intrigued about your inclusion of Dr. Hulda Clark and her research into your book. Usually authors writing fiction make up names but I know Dr. Clark from when she lived in southern Indiana and treated my son for leukemia some 25 years ago. Dr. Clark told me she was fearful for her life from the big “business” of the pharmaceutical industry and needed to move to Mexico. Sounds very much like the plot of your story. So I am just wondering why you included a real-life person and clinic in your work of fiction?
So sorry it’s taken me this long to respond to your note. In my opinion, all novels–except maybe for fantasy–should possess elements of the real world. Dr. Clark and her controversial research and treatments seemed like a credible foundation upon which Dr. Crawford could build her research. I think that whenever possible, blending some real life events and characters into a novel makes it a better read, Thanks for the comment.
